To cover regulatory requirements and your employee’s health needs under the Control of Asbestos at work Regulations 2012, the following is included:

●        45 minute appointment with a HSE Appointed Doctor with experience in assessing workers exposed to asbestos.

●        Lung health questionnaire review

●        Lung examination

●        Lung function test (spirometry)

●        Health advice to the worker

●        Medical surveillance form confirming that the medical has taken place (3 copies as per regulatory requirement)

●        Communication with the worker’s GP if any abnormality is noted and further action required.

The HSE requires asbestos workers to have a medical every 2 years if they carry out licenced work and every 3 years if they carry out non-licenced work.
